DBGS students visited slum area to guide slum dwellers about COVID.

To remove the threat of  Covid in the area ,Desh Bhagat Global School, Mandi Gobindgarh organised a visit to slum area, in collaboration with Desh Bhagat Radio and SMART NGO on 23rd December,2021 to bring awareness about the COVID among masses.The main agenda of the visit  is to construct COVID protective environment.The NCC students of DBGS appealed the people  to keep hygiene in the surroundings to save the environment. A speech was delivered to inform the pupils about  importance of the green environment.The pupils of school planted saplings in the adjoining villages.In addition, students of DBGS along with teachers visited the slums where teachers explained the reasons of spreading Covid and precautions  to be safe from covid-19 .Besides this , students donated masks and  clothes to the people living in slum areas.The school showed proper COViD behaviour while visiting the slum area.The students and teachers performed all the activities by following Covid instructions properly.The school chairman Respected Dr.Zora Singh addressed the students and motivated the students to take part in such activities.The school secretary Dr.Tejinder Kaur wished the students for the success of the activity.To bring awareness among people about environment,the NCC students planted trees in adjoining villages.The main aim of plantation is to make the earth a  green  planet.The students made effective placards and slogans to make the programme more effective.The Principal of the school Mrs.Neha Dhall applauded the efforts of the students and staff to initiate such programmes.
