Jai hind!

Maha Shivratri, which means ‘Night of Lord Shiva,’ is one of the most celebrated Hindu festivals across the nation. Festivals like this are celebrated according to the Hindu lunar calendar during Phalguna or Maagh (February or March). Thousands of people throng to temples on this auspicious day and pray to please the Lord. Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are also assumed to have been married. The day also has many people fasting and sacrificing sweets, flowers, milk, and bael trees in honor of Shiva Linga.

DBGS Wishes You a Very Happy Maha Shivratri!

Thanks & Regards
